The Island ferry left two minutes late and my ferry to Besiktas waited in line, there was another boat waiting for the opening too. So a little bit of sea traffic (!) happened this morning. Seagulls, as the usual owner by the coast, were piking through simit pieces thrown from the ferry.
The way you go to work, sipping your Turkish-tea on the blue Bosphorus, is so calming and beautiful you truly enjoy every second of the ferry journey.
Yes, you would wish you were in Istanbul in the morning!
